U.S. Air Force Captain Elizabeth Etter is Promoted to Director of Public Affairs

Strategic Elements announces the promotion of U.S. Air Force veteran Elizabeth Etter to Director of Public Affairs. She is just one of the firm’s recent additions to its senior leadership and coast-to-coast team. 

Elizabeth has years of experience in project and operations management and high-Intensity, specialty training. As a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), she specializes in working on cross-functional teams and solving complex problems. Elizabeth leads the firm’s strategic efforts and oversees a team specializing in project management and client services. 

Before joining Strategic Elements, she served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Management Specialist. Within two years on station, Elizabeth earned her commission, beginning her new position as a Nuclear Missile Operations Officer stationed at Minot, North Dakota, and earning the rank of Captain.  

“I am honored and excited to be stepping into the Director of Public Affairs role,” Elizabeth Etter said. “My project management and operational organization expertise are strong assets for our clients, and I look forward to continuing to serve them and Strategic Elements with the most efficient processes and workflows possible.”  

Committed to community service and leadership, she has devoted volunteer time to several local nonprofits. In her time of service, Elizabeth sought key leadership opportunities in her philanthropic work, including serving as the Chair for the Air Force Ball, President of the Company Grade Officer Council, championing the base’s first Green Team, and fostering airmen’s innovation as a project manager with team BULLYwerx. She currently serves as a Logistics Committee Member of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Des Moines Walk to End Alzheimer’s and a member of the City of Windsor Heights Special Events Committee.
