Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing

Jillian Newhard is the Vice President of Creative Services at Strategic Elements. Under her leadership, the creative team takes pride in truly listening to client objectives to uniquely align a creative approach that sparks emotion, drives action, and tells a story. Jillian and her team partner with our public affairs, communications, and digital experts to strategically craft the best creative assets for your campaign.  

Jillian brings more than 15 years of extensive experience in branding, marketing, and strategic communications, including crisis communications, digital media, internal and external communications, change management, and public affairs. Throughout her career, she has been recognized as a trusted, collaborative leader who works successfully across multiple teams to deliver creative, results-driven solutions. She specializes in taking complex topics and creating content and visual designs to help align teams, clients, and customers around common goals and objectives.  

Before joining Strategic Elements, Jillian worked at ACT, a nonprofit organization helping people achieve education and workplace success.  She led teams responsible for social media, market research and competitive intelligence, brand management and strategy, creative and content development, media relations, and strategic communications. During her time at ACT, she worked closely with the senior leadership team and public affairs department to help navigate complex change initiatives, served in various leadership roles to build and develop teams, and partnered with education and workforce advocates to advance the ACT mission.  

Jillian received her bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in advertising from the University of Colorado – Boulder and has certifications in Prosci Change Management, Flawless Consulting, and Leading Organizational Transitions.
