Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications

Hillary Maxwell Beightel serves as Senior Vice President for Strategic Elements. She leads groundbreaking communications across client accounts, supports business development, and bolsters critical writing efforts while establishing unique internal and external goals. She effectively improves Strategic Element’s workflow and operations, develops and implements strategic plans, grows political and media relationships, and oversees the execution of integrated campaigns that leverage public affairs, digital, and communications tactics to reach key audiences.   

Her contributions to the Strategic Elements team build upon her two decades of public affairs expertise, campaign management success, and deep-rooted Capitol Hill experience. Previously, Hillary owned and operated a public affairs consulting business where she provided communications and public affairs counsel to a variety of clients. For seven years, Hillary served as Director of Public Affairs at Dell Technologies, overseeing and executing the communications strategy for Dell’s government affairs and public policy team and managing communications efforts for the Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network.   

Hillary has extensive experience in developing and executing communications strategies and messaging for various issues, including technology, health care, energy, and education. Before joining Dell, Hillary served as a campaign director at DDC Advocacy, a Washington D.C.-based public affairs firm, where she managed communications and grassroots advocacy campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and trade associations. Hillary also served as a director at the DCI Group, managing strategic communications and media relations campaigns for the firm’s clients. From 2004 to 2006, Hillary was a political appointee at the U.S. Department of Education, where she served as a regional director in the Office of Strategic Communications.    

Hillary also served as Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Trent Lott. She began her career in high school by serving as U.S. Senate Page.  

Hillary holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Baylor University (Sic ‘Em Bears). She resides in Savannah, Georgia, with her husband, Eric, and their two children, Ainsley and Maxwell.

U.S. Senate Page during the 104th Congress. As a true political nerd, Hillary was on the Senate floor when the Line Item Veto Bill passed. Then a few years later, while interning on the Hill, she attended a Supreme Court session when the Court declared Line Item Veto unconstitutional.
An Air Force Brat who moved eight times and lived in two different countries (Germany and Panama) before turning 18.
