Ali Boettcher

Ali joined Strategic Elements in October 2023 with a decade of experience in public affairs, government relations, and political advocacy. As a Communications and Public Affairs Executive, Ali delivers high-level solutions and strategic communications to Strategic Elements’ wide range of clients. 

Ali’s dynamic political work has affected most corners of Iowa’s landscape. By deploying strategic tactics and poignant messaging, Ali has successfully executed strong digital communications and press operations for local, state, and federal campaigns and congressional members. Most recently, she served as Press Secretary for Congressman Zach Nunn where she executed press conferences, digital content creation, and speech writing. 

Ali grew up on a farm in northern Minnesota where she developed a passion for agriculture and advocacy. Armed with a master’s in strategic communications from the University of Iowa, she has used her education to serve the ag industry by guiding grassroots engagement and policy advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels. Her past roles include Director of Public Affairs for Iowa’s largest pork producer, Industry Liaison and Communications Director at the Iowa State University Bioeconomy Institute, and as Gov. Kim Reynolds’ lead Constituent Service Liaison. 

In her spare time, Ali follows all things politics and media, and enjoys exploring Iowa with her dog, Echo.
