Ad-tech giant PubMatic signs on as an official ad placement partner for X, marking a significant shift for the platform toward programmatic advertising. This collaboration allows X to leverage PubMatic’s infrastructure to open its ad inventory into the $26 billion native display and video market. What this does for advertisers – a better one-stop-shop for media buyers that includes programmatic and X inventory in one.  

X Intercepts NFL Fandom 

X is taking NFL fans to the next level with its new NFL Portal. This new hub is designed to streamline the game-day experience for fans, delivering everything from live scores and standings to curated content feeds—all in a single place. Over the past year, NFL content has driven 16 billion video views and 40% of all sports-related posts on the platform. With the Super Bowl consistently being the most-discussed event, this move strengthens X’s role as a digital “stadium” for fans.

X’s recent updates reportedly deprioritize posts with external links, reducing visibility in favor of native content to boost on-platform engagement. Recent changes include altering link previews and removing headlines—prompting publishers to rethink traffic strategies.
