Former United States Air Force Nuclear Missile Operations Officer, Elizabeth Etter, joins the senior ranks at Strategic Elements as the Senior Account Manager, using her unique leadership skill set to take on big-picture project management and implement new strategies to enhance client relations.
During her six years of military experience, Etter gained vast knowledge in complex projects and people management. As a Project Manager on team BULLYwerx, Etter spearheaded the base’s first-ever Personal Electronic Device Detection program. This innovation initiative paved the way for reduced security incidents and increased nuclear surety. While in service for the United States military, Etter served as the squadron-wide project manager for the largest peace-time mission in 2019. Over ten months, she revitalized the planning process and coordinated efforts for a successful mission with more than twenty outside supporting agencies. In the spring of 2021, Etter earned the rank of Captain, USAF.
Etter is excited to bring her active-duty experience to Strategic Elements. “Strategic Elements helps to make the change I have always wanted to bring to my community and the world at large. I am inspired daily by working with such a positive and motivated team that pushes for change through key legislation and policies, corporations and nonprofits, and local community outreach,“ said Etter.
Passionate about sustainability, Etter created the first-ever Green Team while on the military base to increase recycling efforts and raise sustainability awareness. As President of the base Company Grade Officer Council, she directly mentored and coordinated a team of seven committee members to raise funds and increase base officers’ resources. Etter’s efforts earned her the title of Air Force Global Strike Command 13N Nuclear Deterrence Operator of the Year, Company Grade Officer of the Year, and Military Volunteer of the Year, among many others. Her unit was named the Best Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Wing in the Air Force Global Strike Command and awarded the Omaha Trophy, for which she played a key role.
“We are honored to welcome Elizabeth to the Strategic Elements team. Her unique leadership skills and experience are an incredible asset for both our clients and our team as a whole,“ said Christine Stineman, President and CEO of Strategic Elements. “We thank Elizabeth for her years of service and already appreciate the unique leadership opportunities she is creating for our clients and our team.“
