Strategic Elements welcomes Peggy Ellis to its team as a Strategic Partner. In addition to joining Strategic Elements, she joins the firm’s sister company and political consulting agency, Kdence. As a seasoned public policy, communications, and organizational development veteran, Peggy brings next-level communications and public affairs strategies to Strategic Elements and Kdence.
With a 20+ year track record of success and reputation for getting things done, Peggy is a trusted strategist, government affairs, policy, political and communications expert. Her successes range from Congress and the federal sector to the private and non-profit sectors. The hallmark of Peggy’s government affairs work is working across ideological and political lines on some of the most challenging and divisive issues of our time.
As President and Founder of Ellis and Co., her work ranges from handling federal, public, and political affairs for Esperanza Inc., a network of 14,000+ Hispanic congregations and community non-profits, to today’s work on an ultra-rare disease that is leading to treatments and cures for millions of veterans struggling with PTSD, autism, suicidal depression, and aggressive/obsessive disorders.
Before joining Strategic Elements, Peggy served as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Transportation, where she developed organizational and functional realignment recommendations for Secretary Elaine Chao. She also served on former U.S. President George H. W. Bush’s transition team and administration, as Cato Institute’s Government Affairs Director and RNC Director of Congressional and Public Affairs.
She also served as senior producer for the award-winning PBS Holocaust documentary Rescue in the Philippines: Refuge from the Holocaust. Rescue aired more than 2,000 times on 275 PBS stations and qualified for an Oscar, earning rave reviews from The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times on the day of the New York City premiere.
Peggy will deploy her government affairs expertise and considerable national network to achieve strategic objectives for Strategic Elements, Kdence, and its clients.
“Peggy is a trusted strategist in Washington with a unique knowledge and approach to the initiatives she leads,” Strategic Elements President and CEO Christine Stineman said. “Her federal government affairs experience is steeped in her deep understanding of the role of politics. Coupled with her vast, high-level political network that spans the country, Peggy provides another level of depth across our services.”
“Peggy has a sterling reputation among political and government leaders in Washington,” Strategic Elements Founder and Chief Strategist John Stineman said. “She has the perfect blend of background, deep political and policy knowledge, expansive network, and talent to achieve success for our clients and impact meaningful change. We are ecstatic about adding her to the Strategic Elements and Kdence teams.”
Ellis specializes in getting things done through strategic partnerships, communications, government affairs, and business and organization development in both private and public sectors. She looks forward to joining the coast-to-coast firms.
“The teams at Strategic Elements and Kdence have an impressive track record,” Peggy Ellis said. “I am honored to join both the Strategic Elements and Kdence teams and look forward to all we will accomplish.”
