Strategic Elements welcomes seasoned media relations and communications veteran Kristin Wileman Sheldon to its leadership team as the Director of External Affairs. Based in Pierre, South Dakota, Kristin is one of the firm’s recent nationwide hires. With broad experience in media relations, public affairs, and non-profit consulting, Kristin adds to the firm’s award-winning team’s robust dynamic and skill set.
Kristin brings extensive experience in government and campaign communications with a proven track record in public relations, content development, brand advancement, storytelling, non-profit growth, and strategic messaging. She most recently served as a communications and marketing specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration, where she developed a network of business and political leaders in the Midwest region and created educational materials for COVID-19 relief resources. Before Kristin’s time in the federal arena, Wileman Sheldon served as press secretary for South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
