Strategic Elements adds former Hill staffer and California native Hayley Wade to its ranks

Former Hill staffer Hayley Wade joins Strategic Elements as Communications Manager, adding more talent to the firm. Wade spent the entirety of the 116th Congress serving on the staff of U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger, the ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee and the most senior Republican woman in Congress.

While on staff, Wade handled all constituent correspondence, advised on policy and legislation, and served as a legislative correspondent with the media. Wade worked through two impeachment trials, the COVID-19 pandemic – including negotiation and passage of the historic Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act – and the longest government shutdown in American history.

Wade received her Bachelor of Art in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During her time at UC Santa Barbara, Wade worked at the County of Santa Barbara Real Property Division. She worked with lease management and new public development location identification for critical county projects such as emergency services in her role. Wade also worked at the University of California Disabled Students Program, where she collaborated with students and professors to accommodate students living with disabilities and support academic success.

“We are pleased to add Hayley’s problem-solving approach and unique policy-oriented media relations experience to our team. In addition, she adds a valuable layer to our expanding communications department through her work for the Ranking Member of the U.S. House Appropriations Committee, during the most challenging time in recent history,” says Christine Stineman, President & CEO of Strategic Elements.

As Communications Manager, Wade is excited to bring her public service experience and political insight to Strategic Elements. “Strategic Elements is no doubt making an impact on the industry through its one-of-a-kind creative and strategic work. I am proud to join a company that is innovative and focused on achieving success for our clients,” says Wade.
