Strategic Elements announces the promotion of public affairs specialist Makenzie Jones to Public Affairs Associate. In addition to her promotion at Strategic Elements, Makenzie steps into a new role as an Associate at the firm’s sister company, Kdence.
Makenzie has been a public service leader since college serving as a Chairwoman of a state-wide organization. She has experience in public service work, in-state and out-of-state campaign work, and assisting with on-the-ground operations. In her new role, Makenzie will deepen her focus on strategic research, targeted outreach, and writing for clients.
Before joining Strategic Elements, she spent time as a leader on the local level as President of the University of Iowa College Republicans for two years. During the 2020 election cycle, she worked for the National Republican Senate Committee where she spoke to over 2,000 voters. For two years, she served on the board of the Iowa Federation of College Republicans, her last year as the Chairwoman of the board, and is currently serving as the Regional Vice Chair of the Midwest for the College Republicans National Committee. Makenzie’s experience in third-party activation and public outreach has been a solid asset to Strategic Elements, Kdence, and its clients.
“I am thrilled to step into the role of Public Affairs Associate,” Makenzie Jones said. “My knowledge in message and materials development alongside communication with the public will serve as an asset to the already high quality-services the teams at Strategic Elements have provided clients with. I look forward to continuing this success in my new position.”
