Long-time politico, government relations, and public affairs specialist Andrew Dunkley has joined Strategic Elements as Senior Public Affairs Manager, bringing years of public affairs and political campaign, policy, and operational management experience to the team.
Dunkley is a veteran of more than 40 political and public affairs campaigns, including serving in the leadership role of campaign manager. Dunkley has demonstrated the ability to find meaningful solutions to partisan and policy problems spanning the local, state, and federal levels of government in multiple states.
Before joining Strategic Elements, Dunkley was Senior External Affairs Manager with Pac/West Strategies, a Denver, Colorado, political consulting and public affairs firm where he was responsible for client services as well as vendor and consultant management of several public policy initiatives. Dunkley’s experience spans from energy to agricultural industries and encompasses leadership of ballot measure campaigns and independent expenditures supporting pro-business candidates on both sides of the aisle.
Previously, Dunkley served as a regional director and campaign operative for a former U.S. Senator, where he directed and executed outreach throughout Colorado. His work involved policy issue areas, including transportation and infrastructure, energy and natural resources, public lands and the environment, agriculture, and water. He has overseen legislation and government cooperation on all government levels, including federal funding for the I-25 Gap project and other successful transportation and infrastructure funding efforts.
