Strategic Elements welcomes political and strategic communication expert Kathy Didawick to its team as a strategic partner. Kathy also joins the company’s political consulting agency, Kdence.
With more than 30 years of experience working in high-level public affairs, political campaigns, and congressional communications, Kathy brings abundant knowledge to the Strategic Elements team. In addition to joining the team, Kathy is the President of The Dovetail Group. Her expertise in political and government affairs will provide a fresh perspective and successful public policy capacity for Strategic Elements and the company’s clients.
Before joining the company, Kathy served as Vice President of Political and External Affairs for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, a national federation of 35 independent and locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies. In her role, she led their political and external activities by managing and directing all political advocacy, PAC engagement, and third-party alliance development. She also lobbied on healthcare issues, ensured a well-suited position with congressional leadership, and directed a successful team to manage the Association’s PAC development and Plan programs.
Kathy is a Congressional veteran with experience working for three U.S. Senators more than 15 years. Kathy is also on the Board of Directors for The Congressional Award Foundation, a nonprofit organization that rewards and honors young Americans for their public service and personal development. Kathy’s extensive communications and public affairs background provides high-level expertise to the firm’s award-winning team.
